Whitestone: Touch HD for CDMA Gets Bluetooth Approval

It looks like the HTC Whitestone–which if rumors hold true is destined for a Verizon Wireless launch–has just passed Bluetooth certification. The device is scheduled for a fall launch with a 3.6-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera, 256/512 MB RAM/ROM, and a 528 MHz processor with Windows Mobile 6.1.

The device’s large touchscreen should be great for browsing the web or enjoying a nice multimedia experience viewing photos and videos. As such, it could be compared to the Touch HD. The Whitestone also comes with a kickstand so you can position the device at an angle on a flat service to enjoy the screen.
