Video: Verizon XV6900 On-Screen Keyboards

The standard on-screen keyboard for Windows Mobile Professional wouldn’t be adequate for the Touch/XV6900 – a device that encourages you to use your fingers instead of the stylus.

That’s why HTC has included two new keyboards: the Touch Keyboard and Touch Keypad, the former being akin to the SureType keyboard found on the BlackBerry pearl, and the latter being akin to the TouchPal keyboard, which uses a T9-like keyboard, among several others.

The keyboard and keypad work generally well after a bit of practice. Unfortunately, they cover a large portion of the screen when open.

Oh yeah, the HTC Touch Diamond adds three additional keyboards, not just two.
