In this video, we cover the software included on the Verizon VX6900. The phone comes with the HTC Home plugin, which puts important functions on the Today screen. It also includes the HTC Task Manager, which allows the user to specify the function of the close button, plus keep an eye on how much program memory is being used by open applications. In addition, we have Microsoft Office Mobile 2007, an application to view PDFs, and a few others.

In the next video, we’ll take a look at the many “touch” enhancements made to the XV6900, such as TouchFLO and flick scrolling.
