Yes, it's true. The successor to the T-Mobile MDA will be the HTC Atlas, a WM 6 Pro device that reminds of the HTC Wizard in form factor, yet is a bit thinner (17mm versus 24mm). The T-Mobile Wing packs a 201MHz OMAP processor, WiFi, QVGA screen, Bluetooth 2.0 and no 3G. Look for it May 21st on the T-Mobile network. Thanks to MyMobile911 for the video.
