The LG Fathom is not the most attractive looking phone to ever grace our review labs. It has a slide out keyboard that provides a lot of options to allow you to operate the screen without reaching up to touch up, but the layout of the letters plus the placement of certain key punctuation makes the keyboard not as easy to use as that of the Touch Pro2, also on Verizon.

In terms of specs, the Fathom is rocking the Snapdragon 1GHz CPU with 256MB RAM and 512MB of ROM, running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. The screen is WVGA 3.2″ and is resistive, so there are no multitouch gestures possible. It’s a world phone, and has WiFi, Bluetooth, EVDO Rev A, and the typical sensors found in a modern smartphone like a light sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer.
