In this video we cover the hardware of the HTC Desire, which is HTC’s fastest Android device yet. In terms of hardware, it’s generally similar to the Google Nexus One, except that it’s a bit thicker, has a different button configuration, uses an optical D-Pad instead of a mechanical D-Pad, and has a different backing. Overall, the Desire feels fantastic in hand, and we’re looking forward to showing you how HTC Sense for Android works when it’s powered by a 1GHz CPU and 576MB of RAM!

By the way, if you’re looking for a good round-up of accessories for the Desire, Clove Blog has a good list.
