At long last, AT&T users can use a WebOS device! It was only a year ago that the original Palm Pre hit Sprint, but in “cell phone years”, that’s at least five. In this video we unbox the AT&T version of the Palm Pre Plus, which is identical to what you’ll get on Verizon, but in the GSM flavor with HSDPA internet. Personally, I’m very excited to be able to finally use a WebOS phone as my daily driver for a bit. My experience with the Palm Pre Plus on Verizon hasn’t been entirely positive…I’ve found it to be a bit slow (despite having more RAM than the original Pre). So hopefully, a few OS updates later, the AT&T Palm Pre Plus will be fast and stable. If you want a Palm Pre Plus on AT&T, it’ll cost you $150 with a new two-year contract.
Have you been holding out for a WebOS device on AT&T?
