Verizon Wireless HTC Ozone Gets Ripped Off for Vodafone

The HTC Ozone on Verizon Wireless, as reviewed by Stephen Skarlatos, is seeing a good knock-off with styling that merges the Ozone and the Nokia E71. Unlike the HTC Ozone, which actually is Verizon Wireless’ tackball-less CDMA variant of the GSM HTC Snap, the knock-off version to be launched on Vodafone doesn’t specify an OS and probably will be just a cheap feature phone.

The knock-off appearing on Vodafone is semi-interesting as the carrier is one of the partners, together with Verizon, that form Verizon Wireless joint venture. No further information is given about the handset except that it will target the lower end market segment.
