Verizon Samsung i760 Released

The Samsung i760 is finally released on Verizon Wireless. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional and is unique with its number dialpad, off-center directional pad, and sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The device will be released online today, Friday, October 19, and will be available in physical retail stores on November 2, 2007. The price is set at $349.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and two-year service agreement.

The Samsung i760 will be competing with the Verizon VV6800, Verizon’s own version of the Sprint Mogul from HTC, according to the::unwired. Release date for the XV6800 wasn’t announced.
