Verizon HP Mini Netbook Hardware Tour

File under: News
By: Brandon Miniman | Date: 25-May-09 | - Comments

As is the case with all netbooks, the HP Mini on the Verizon network is a petite, sexy device, that easily fits in small spaces.

In this video, we cover the hardware of the netbook. The keyboard seems to take up the most space it possibly can, allowing for nice-sized keys that doesn't feel cramped like other netbooks.

Our gripes with the netbook thus far are mostly related to design: the power switch is awkwardly placed, the lid is a fingerprint magnet, and the 10.1" screen resolution is a bit on the low side at just 1024x576.

Up next, we're going to go through the integration with Verizon's EVDO network, including remarks on the effect on battery life, up/down network speeds, and ease of use. In case you missed it, check out our unboxing video.
