We’ve got to admit – a Touch Diamond slider wouldn’t be a bad idea. Don’t you think? If HTC could maintain the slim form factor of the Diamond while adding a small number pad the reveals when you slide up the screen, they could have a huge hit. You could start and end calls by moving the slider, and for those that find the on screen keyboard annoying, they’d be able to use T9 via the keypad.
