The Shadow II is the Only WinMo Phone to Do UMA

As our sister site AllShadow.com points out, the T-Mobile Shadow II - despite receiving a lukewarm reception from the community on account of being a mild refresh of the original Shadow - will be the first Windows Mobile phone to support T-Mobile @Home, using UMA technology.

So for a $10 per month fee to use the service, you can begin a call in the car using your cell phone minutes, then when you are within range of a T-Mobile hotspot (there are 8,000 according to the T-Mo website) or your home T-Mobile router, the call is seamlessly switched to WiFi, and your call no longer drains your minutes. But as Chuong pointed out earlier this year, the availability of unlimited calling plans make T-Mobile @Home less compelling.
