TechFaith’s Bono is Like a TyTN II, But Better

The folks over at PocketPCDubai got a chance to visit Gitex 2008, where they saw some interesting Windows Mobile devices made by TechFaith wireless, a company that makes handsets for carriers around the world.

Of the half dozen or so handsets listed, the most interesting is the Bono – essentially an HTC TyTN II but with a much higher resolution WVGA 3.0″ screen. It’s triband GSM (850/900/1800) and dualband UMTS (1900/2100), so in theory, it should work in the US should you find a way to import it.
