T*Omnia to Control BMW in Korea

The T*Omnia, Korea’s more advanced version of the Samsung Omnia, is teaming up with German car maker BMW for in-car controls via the phone. According to Samsung Central:

This in-car wireless charging solution is the world’s first, but it will only work for Samsung T*Omnia phones since the dock is custom-designed for that specific handset. Other features such as Bluetooth hands-free and iDrive controller will be present, as with previous 7-series cars with Samsung phone integration.

Is this the first Windows Mobile phone to receive official car control and charging support?
