Sprint to Get HTC Touch

It looks like Sprint will be the exclusive USA carrier to carry the HTC Touch in CDMA version with data speeds on EVDO.

The HTC Touch has been a great success, selling about 800,000 phones in the same time period the iPhone sold 1,000,000.

While the USA is definitely slower than the rest of the globe to get the hottest phone, as Europe is already getting the Touch Dual, it is still nice to see a major carrier launching such a successful phone in the States.

While the Touch isn’t available just yet on Sprint, you can head on over to Sprint to register to be notified of availability. Sprint’s version will launch with some Sprint customizations, including the Sprint Music Store, SEE (which is the Sprint entertainment and sports video program), Sprint TV, and On-Demand.
