The Omnia as we currently know it has a resolution that is WQVGA, which is wide QVGA resolution at 400 X 240. Samsung is updating the Omnia, naming it the T*Omnia, according to Engadget Mobile, which resembles the old model but ups the resolution to WVGA. The resolution would make the Omnia a keyboard-less version of the Sony XPERIA X1. Koreans will get the new T*Omnia November 20th on SK Telecom.
The Omnia that will be coming to US carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless should be of the VQVGA model so don’t hold your breath just yet for the higher resolution display.
