New Phone from MWg: Zinc II

After O2 closed shop in Asia, MWG (Mobile Wireless Group) took over. Now, MWG is releasing the Zinc II, a new Windows Mobile 6 Professional phone with a 2.8 inch QVGA screen and nice home screen.

The Zinc II follows the original O2 Zinc with an innovative design, which includes a unique slide-out keyboard. The keyboard looks like it follows the RAZR design, although it is a full QWERTY keyboard. According to the::unwired, the device will sport 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM, quad-band GSM/EDGE, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, SiRF III GPS chip, WiFi b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0 along with an FM radio with RDS. This makes for some nice specs, although I am not sure that power users will be happy with the RAM configuration.
