Mio has unveiled its latest device, a GPS phone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5 called the Mio Amber. The Windows Phone created by Mio will have some new features for the Windows Mobile camp, including a magnetic digital compass--a sensor that was employed in the T-Mobile G1 and the new Apple iPhone 3G S to orient you in the proper direction when looking at maps. Though developers have not had time to exploit the capabilities of the digital magnetic compass, its potential is limitless.

Other nice features include:

-CPU: Qualcomm MSM 7201A Turbo (528MHz)
-Memory: 256/512MB RAM/ROM
-Display: 3.61? WVGA
-Network: GPRS/EDGE + WCDMA/HSPA
-Camera: 5MP AF + secondary VGA
-Battery: 1500mAh minimum
-OS: WM 6.5
-MicroSD, GPS, AGPS, BT 2.0, USB 2.0, M sensor, G sensor
-Noise Cancellation
-FM Transmitter
