Mio Amber GPS Phone with Digital Compass

Mio has unveiled its latest device, a GPS phone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5 called the Mio Amber. The Windows Phone created by Mio will have some new features for the Windows Mobile camp, including a magnetic digital compass–a sensor that was employed in the T-Mobile G1 and the new Apple iPhone 3G S to orient you in the proper direction when looking at maps. Though developers have not had time to exploit the capabilities of the digital magnetic compass, its potential is limitless.
