Meet the HTC Touch Pro

Another official announcement this week – HTC is lifting the sheet off of the HTC Raphael, now known as the Touch Pro.

HTC Corp., a global leader in mobile phone innovation and design, today unveiled its advanced next generation business phone, the HTC Touch Pro™. Bringing a beautiful new angle to mobile business productivity, the HTC Touch Pro utilizes similar styling and functionality of the highly anticipated Touch Diamond™ and introduces a variety of business-focused enhancements that make getting work done on the go quick and easy.

Compared to the HTC Touch Diamond, the Touch Pro is essentially the same device – just 6.77mm thicker to accommodate the keyboard and larger battery (1350mAh vs. 900mAh), and it also has much less storage space, but adds a microSD slot for expansion. Here’s a roundup of specs, which shows us that again, HTC won’t be releasing this in the US since it doesn’t carry the 850 band, at least initially:
