LG Incite Hardware Tour

The look of the LG Incite is similar to that of the LG Shine - the front of the device is completely reflective and can serve as a mirror. Since the Incite has no inbuilt stylus, you have to tether the detachable stylus "container" to the device (like the Omnia), unless you plan to operate the device all by touch, which is possible.

Going around the device, we see a microUSB port for charging and syncing, plus a welcomed 3.5mm headphone jack for audio. There is also a notchy scroll wheel on the right side of the device, which makes selecting items on the screen easier with the lack of D-Pad. The proximity sensor helps to save battery life by turning off the screen when you bring the device close to your face.

Overall, the Incite has an attractive and high quality look and feel to it, until you look closely and find several indications of poor build quality.

Next up, we'll cover the software of the incite. If you missed it, be sure to check out the unboxing video
