We’re getting some pictures now of the upcoming Toshiba devices. You’ve seen the TG01, on the top, which will be among the first WinMo devices to use Qualcomm’s juicy Snapdragon platform, clocking in at 1GHz. It will also sport a huge 4.1″ WVGA screen and be a ridiculous 9.9mm thick – that’s the thinnest Windows Mobile device ever. Below that, shown in blue, is the TG02, which is the water-resistant version of the TG01 (we can’t wait to check our email in the rain!). Going down the line we have the TG03 which brings specs and features similar to its predecessor, but adds multichannel audio (hum, how would this work on a mobile device?).
What confuses us is that non of these devices sport the Windows Flag, which, as we’ve heard from Microsoft, is a requirement for Windows Mobile 6.5 devices.
