Is This the T-Mobile Dash 2?

The original T-Mobile Dash was a great little device – it was a basic messaging device but was small, capable, and the keyboard was great. So it’d make a lot of sense for T-Mobile to do a Dash 2 to build on the success of the original. BGR has spotted what looks to be a Dash in black (so, just a refresh), or perhaps the Dash 2 that brings 3G, GPS, and maybe a faster-clocking CPU (and more memory wouldn’t hurt).

From what we see in the image, it’s definitely running Windows Mobile Standard (non touchscreen). Also, each and every button is in the same place as the original Dash, leading us to lean on the “Dash refresh” side rather than declaring it a second coming of the Dash. Actually, the HTC Cavalier was supposed to be the Dash 2, but seeing how we gave it low ratings because of build quality and bugs, it didn’t surprise us that the device never made it mainstream.
