Is this the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2?

What could the XPERIA X2 bring that is new and different?

The XPERIA X1 was (and still is) a sweet device--it's got a very sensitive screen, a great keyboard, and a panel-based interface that is a fresh take on how a phone's interface should look and feel.

There was some question on whether there would be a successor to the X1, and further, if it would run Windows Mobile. As the Windows Flag implies on the leaked image below, the Sony Ericsson device does indeed run Windows Mobile. Since it says "XPERIA" with a button for panels, we're pretty sure that this could be the X2.

The X2 would likely be a thinner and sleeker device. One of our biggest gripes with the X1 was its brick-like design. Also, it looks like the X2 may bring a keyboard with smaller spaces between the keys. Beyond that, we're thinking Windows Mobile 6.5, and perhaps a new version of the panel software that would be more refined (especially in terms of performance) and allow for more customizations.
