In this video we go through the hardware of the new HTC Touch Pro2. The design of the device is quite slick with smooth lines, quality materials, and a high level of build quality. Thankfully, unlike the Diamond2, the back of the Touch Pro2 is not a fingerprint magnet.
We get to demonstrate the Straight Talk feature which turns the Touch Pro2 into a pretty sophisticated speakerphone, complete with noise cancellation, a dedicated mute button, and automatic activation when you turn the phone on its face.
Also in this video we compare the keyboard of the Touch Pro2 with that of the Touch Pro and old TyTN II, finding that the newer style keyboard lends to fantastic ergonomics and a great typing experience, especially with those with medium or large sized hands.
Coming up soon is the software tour of the Touch Pro2, followed by the review. In case you missed it, check out the unboxing video.
