HTC Touch Diamond2 Hardware Tour Video
File under: News
In this video, we get a closer look at the hardware, which includes a mid-sized 3.2" screen (compared to 2.8" on the old Touch Pro and Diamond, 3.5" on the iPhone, and 3.8" on the Touch HD). We also mention again how the screen on the Diamond2 has higher sensitivity compared to any other Windows Mobile device - in fact, it's as close to capacitive as we've ever seen.
Though the build quality of the Diamond2 is terrific and the device feels nice in hand, there are some hardware issues that we're not too excited about: there is no flash on the camera, the microSD card slot is behind the battery cover, the back of the device is covered with fingerprint-prone shiny black plastic, there is no D-Pad, and the stylus isn't magnetic. Hit the jump for the video!
Next up, we'll cover the software on the Diamond2, before giving you the full review. In case you missed it, check out the unboxing!
