Want to know what it’s like to turn on an HD2 for the first time? We take you through the experience in this video, as a follow up to the unboxing. We find that to get the device going, you must first remove the real-metal battery backing and remove the plastic.
Beyond that, there is a keyboard text entry tutorial that you run through, plus a couple of wizards to get you going on social networks and on WiFi. Without a hitch the device set up all connection settings for AT&T. Note that since this is a European phone (until 2010 when it comes to the US), you won’t be able to get a 3G signal.
Coming up next we’ll take a detail look at the hardware on the HD2.
