It’s been known for some time that the upcoming hp hx4700 Pocket PC will have a touchpad built in instead of the directional pad that you find on other Pocket PCs. As expected, the touchpad will emulate a directional pad for users who are used to that kind of operation. However, Synaptics has worked with hp to produce a second mode.
