The Toshiba TG01 represents two Windows Mobile firsts: the first device to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform (and a raging 1GHz CPU), and the first device to exclude the call start and call end keys (they are software-based).
Thinner than the iPhone, or any other phone that we can think of, the 9.9mm thick TG01 sports a huge 4.1″ WVGA screen, thus making the device very wide in-hand. As a comparison, the Touch HD has a 3.8″ screen, and the iPhone’s display measures at 3.5″.
It’ll likely be first sold as a Windows Mobile 6.1 device when it’s released in Europe this summer, and then will jump to 6.5 shortly thereafter.
