In this video we cover the hardware on the Google Nexus One, which is an Android 2.1 device made by HTC (if you haven’t heard by now). The device has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, plus a huge 512MB of RAM (the HD2 has 448MB RAM). It also comes with 512MB of ROM for storage plus a 4GB microSD card for added memory that cannot be removed without removing the battery (which is annoying). For full specs on the Nexus One, check out PDAdb.net.
Beyond that, the hardware on the Nexus One is fantastic and feels high quality. The only issue that we came across is that the buttons below the screen are a bit too close to the onscreen keyboard when it is displayed, thus causing occasional mis-presses.
In case you missed it, check out the unboxing of the Nexus One. More to come!
