Palm’s Foleo was a risky venture that was later scrapped and never launched. However, a company called Celio is planning on introducing a Windows Mobile Foleo-like device that will enable Windows Mobile 5/6 devices to connect to a portable external display and keyboard.
According to Engadget Mobile, the device will be made possible by Celio’s REDFLY Smartphone Interface System and will be targeted at enterprise customers for a price of $499, the initial offering of the Palm Foleo after rebates. The device will utilize Bluetooth 2.0 to connect.
