Casio Brings Back the Cassiopeia

Remember the Cassiopeia line of Pocket PC devices? It was back in 2001 that we reviewed the EG-800, followed by the sleek BE-300 later that year.

It looks like Casio is bringing back the Cassiopeia brand, but this time, for the industrial sector. The DT-5300 is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device that rocks a VGA screen, 624MHz Marvell CPU, and a VGA display. The device is intended for a release in Japan in October of 2009.

We can’t help but wonder: does Casio plan on relaunching the Cassiopeia brand in a bigger capacity?
