In this video, our guest editor, Jon Rettinger, takes a look at the hardware of the BlackBerry Storm.

The Storm has the usual BlackBerry buttons below the 3.3" screen, which has a resolution of 360x480 (slightly greater than the iPhone). It's running on a Marvell 624MHz CPU, with 192MB RAM and 1GB of ROM, plus all Storms are shipping with an 8GB microSDHC card. The width is 14mm, which is about the same thickness as the Samsung Epix and LG Incite. For audio, the Storm uses a 3.5mm connector, and for syncing and charging, we have microUSB. Powering it all is a 1400mAh battery.

Coming up soon in the next video, Jon will talk all about the software of the Storm, including the browser and messaging capabilities, plus the new interface. He'll also talk about the interesting tactile feedback of the screen that we keep hearing about. In case you missed it, check out the unboxing video.
