We told you about the forthcoming BlackJack II on AT&T earlier, but now Engadget Mobile has some updated information. It will not be like the European i780 with GPS and WiFi, unfortunately. The BlackJack II retains many of the similar characteristics of the original BlackJack.
Physically, the design has gone more glossy. The keyboard layout is different, with the number keys squished together, rather than spaced out like on the original. I do wonder if it will make dialing more difficult for people with larger fingers. The camera’s been updated to 2 megapixels and the hump is still there. The operating system has been bumped to Windows Mobile 6 Standard.
In addition, it looks like the side scroll wheel is gone. However, it looks like the directional pad on the front could double as a scroll wheel there, kind of like the iPod Classic.
