For HTC, the Touch Diamond represented the birth of TouchFLO 3D, an interface that brought a truly fresh and beautiful way to access your data without having to dig through many applications. It also represented an era of higher end devices with high resolution screens, faster processors, and slimmer form factors. In this video, HTC CEO Peter Chou unveils the Touch Diamond, and explains the design philosophy for the hardware and software. This video is from less than two years ago, which is amazing considering how much progress there has been in the mobile space since then.
