iOS is not perfect. Those who blindly defend it are either new to the smartphone market or simply want to troll their way around reality. After we've talked about the things that frustrate some of us about Windows Phone and Android, it's time to talk about Cupertino's favorite baby. I come from a time when Multi-tasking wasn't considered a feature, since it didn't even make sense to release an OS that didn't offer a way to work around apps. I'm not sure how Apple was able to sell so many iPhones and iPads when they couldn't do this, but I stayed away from them until they figured that out. ...

After two months since the original release of HTC Sense 3.6 with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, T-Mobile finally shares the love with Sensation 4G customers. The upgrade includes a ton of great changes for current Sensation customers, so we don't recommend you ignore the opportunity. Surely this upgrade is not the same experience that HTC One customers receive with Sense 4.0, nor will it make your one-year-old Sensation loose a few millimeters in thickness like the it's new successor, the One S. That may be something positive for many of you though since the Sensation and the One S are ...

As a geek, it's sometimes hard for me or many of us to leave the tech bubble that we're surrounded with in order to understand why the average consumer sees things differently. Our own passion for gadgets pushes us to swap phones constantly, where as the average user signs a contract for one phone they won't be able to change for the next two years. With such a huge commitment, it's still an illogical mystery to many how Apple was able to push their iPhone from complete in-existence to being the top selling smartphone in the world. I say illogical because it was significantly more ...

As Samsung unveiled their new Galaxy S III at their unpacked event, we also got a glimpse of their new line of accessories that will accompany the different features offered. Out of the most important ones mentioned we've got an AllShare hub that will stream content from your handset to any TV or monitor through HDMI. The service is called AllShare Cast and even allows you to play games on your TV while you use the phone as the gaming controller, even though all you're really doing is mirroring the content of your phone onto the display. For those of you that want the latest and greatest, ...

Apple recently won a patent they filed over eight years ago, and it involves everything that has to do with how their iTunes Store works, which back then, was pretty much just a music store. Back in 2004 when Napster had already disrupted the way we listen to music we didn't buy and choices to buy music were limited to small options like mp3.com, music companies were desperate, and in a way so were we. The iTunes Store became an instant hit since you were no longer limited to being lucky enough to find a popular CD that could easily sell out at a store, and the whole idea of being able to ...

With Google's launch of Drive yesterday, we know many of you were left with the dilemma of either jumping ship or sticking to the cloud storage service you already use. What makes Google Drive interesting is that it's got everything that users have come to love about Dropbox, but with some enhanced features that make it a no-brainer for Google Doc users. For some, having a little bit of everything in each cloud storage service available is good, but for others, the hassle of having to manage files everywhere is just a waste of time. Dropbox has really nailed ease of use in their service. ...

Google is what we'd like to call a "Launch Machine". They've singlehandedly attempted to compete in just about everything that doesn't have to do with search, and many of these projects have turned out to be either great success stories like Android, or terrible flops like Google Buzz. It's as if no idea is small enough to not be implemented, and no way of doing it is bad enough to not be considered a way to start, even if it's a beta for more than a year. Things start to get weird when we begin to consider their attempt at cloud storage. It's not like Google to be late to any party, but ...

If you've never owned a tablet, there's no device that we could recommend more than Apple's New iPad. We rarely give any product we review a full score of 5 stars out of 5, so there's no mistaking that this is simply one of the best tablets you can purchase at the moment. No product is perfect though, and Apple's past versions of the iPad are also good choices to pick from. With Apple's recent decision to sell their New iPad along with last year's iPad 2, and with the ease that you can find the First-Gen iPad on eBay for a good price, choices can become complicated for any first-time ...

Sony's Xperia line has always been about refining. Back in 2008, their first Xperia X1 was clearly the benchmark for how a high-end Windows Mobile device should look and perform. Sadly, Sony Ericsson's adoption of Android has been a different story. Their phones have done a good job in pushing industrial design to the limit, but the fact that their first Android device, the X10, launched with Android 1.6 Donut (later updated to Eclair) in times when Froyo was already shipping, has really tarnished their reputation. As good as their phones have been, they're still struggling to land a hit ...

Choosing your next smartphone is a chore. We get tons of questions everyday regarding which phone is better than the other, and with so many Android offerings, it's kind of a tough deal. Performance is a great way to judge a phone as better than the other, but that speed alone is not the only thing you interact with. The screen is what you're really interacting with the most, and there's no denying that a great quality screen can make you change your mind about one device or the other. In the following video we decided to compare three of the best smartphones in the market in what pertains ...
