October is going to be a very busy month for us in Windows Mobile land. With the official release of 6.5 and the Marketplace, there are going to many many new hardware releases from HTC, Samsung, and Acer.
Acer’s first device out of the gate is the Snapdragon-packing F1 (S200), and it is being shown on eBay now with a price of $600. The F1, which is running Windows Mobile 6.5, has a large 3.8″ WVGA display (that’s the same size and resolution as the Touch HD), with 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, WiFi, and that delicious 1GHz CPU.
The phone is being sold unlocked and has one of the 3G bands that will allow it to work on AT&T 3G in some areas (UMTS 1900).
