Not so long ago we told you about YouTube recognizing Windows Phone 7.5 Mango’s IE9 and thus using HTML 5. In a similar move it appears that YouTube mobile is now using HTML 5 on BlackBerry devices running OS 7.
YouTube’s usage of HTML 5 offers better streaming and an improved layout. If you BlackBerry runs OS 7 you will be able to experience all that (sorry earlier BBOS users, you’re still stuck with the old version of the mobile page). If you own a new BlackBerry device running the latest OS, just point your browser to YouTube and you’ll be presented with the HTML 5 version.
