We’ve already seen the Bold 9930 showing off its Verizon boot screen but now, as you can see in the image above, we get a release date too. The phone will be ready for August 15 Direct Fulfillment and August 25 in stores.
RIM has unveiled the BlackBerry Bold 9900 (and its CDMA cousin, the 9930) with the occasion of its BlackBerry World Event this year and more recently has officially launched the phone together with the Torch 9850/9860 and Torch 9810.
The Bold 9900/9930 runs BlackBerry OS 7 and features a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen display with VGA (640×480) resolution, 287 dpi pixel density and an “ultra-easy” QWERTY keyboard. You also have an optical trackpad, 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, 8GB on-board memory, microSD slot supporting up to 32GB cards, five-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi b/g/n, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Proximity Sensor and 1230 mAh battery.
