We had previously reported of the Canadian BlackBerry Torch release date as September 24th, but now we’re hearing that may not be the case for all carriers. The BlackBerry Torch is now said to be coming to Bell Canada on October 1 while carrier Telus is only listing the device for pre-order and coming soon without exact availability.

Regarding the delay with Bell, there isn’t any information as the cause for the launch to be pushed back by a week, come October 1, Canadian Blackberry users on Bell Canada can obtain the Torch for $199.95 on a 3-year contract and $599.95 without a contract.
