It looks like RIM’s latest BlackBerry smartphones running BBOS 7 are nearly upon us. We’ve heard rumors of releases in the US and Canada for this month, and seen confirmation of an August 16 ETA in the UK. Now we can try to narrow-down the release window for Canada a bit, after a pair of leaks have emerged, pointing to an August 15 launch.
New screenshots have been leaked that show both the BlackBerry Torch 9810 and Torch 9860 coming to Telus on August 15. This information helps to back-up what we saw last week, where another leaked screenshot claimed that both those Torches, as well as the Bold 9900, would go up for sale one week from today.
These new images don’t include the 9900 as the last one did, but barring some kind of hardware shortage for the Bold, it seems pretty likely that it will still be coming out right alongside the Torches.
The last rumors we heard for when this hardware will be available in the US still pointed to a very late August launch, at least for T-Mobile, giving BlackBerry fans in Europe and Canada a two week head start.
