Just a day after fellow CDMA carrier Verizon did the same, Sprint has officially announced RIM’s BlackBerry Curve 9330 — the Curve 3G — for its network starting on September 26th for $49.99 on contract (after mail-in rebate, and only through business, telesales, and online channels initially). That price is $20 higher and $30 lower than Verizon and T-Mobile sell their versions for, respectively. Sprint’s Curve 3G will come in two colors, Graphite Gray and Royal Purple, and will have to wait until sometime next year to get upgraded to BlackBerry OS 6.
Sprint will begin selling its newest Curve in-store starting October 10th.
