RIM’s OS Version 7 Brings A New Keyboard To The Torch 2

The BlackBerry Torch 2, also known as the 9810, has shown its face in a couple of videos as well as a couple of pictures more recently, right before it was believed to be passing FCC en-route to AT&T.

The upcoming BlackBerry OS version 7 will reportedly bring a new keyboard layout to the Torch 2. Both the 9810 and the 9850/60 are believed to be benefitting from the revamped input method. While the redesign may appear to be minor, RIM looks to be lining up the software input method on the Torch 2 with the one found on the company’s tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook.
