Following up on the recent BlackBerry service outages which were pretty global, even affecting the U.S. and Canada, RIM founder Mike Lazaridis came on camera to apologize for the inconveniences.
“We’ve let many of you down” he says right after admitting that RIM didn’t deliver on the services its customers were expecting from the company. Lazaridis also says that the company is working to fix issues now that BlackBerry services are approaching normal levels across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. There can be some glitches in the future and there’s no estimate as to when everything will be fully back to normal. Check out the public statement below:
