After RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis went on camera to officially apologize for the BlackBerry service outage that affected several regions, including the U.S.A. and Canada, the company is now offering free premium applications to its customers as compensation.
The applications will be “free of charge to subscribers as an expression of appreciation for their patience during the recent service disruptions”. They will be available in the BlackBerry App World for four weeks beginning Wednesday, October 19th and include titles like SIMS 3, Bejeweled, N.O.V.A., Texas Hold’em Poker 2, Photo Editor Ultimate, DriveSafe.ly Pro, iSpeech Translator Pro, Nobex Radio Premium, Shazam Encore and Vlingo Plus. In addition, enterprise customers will get one month of free Technical Support.
