Porsche Design P’9531 Appears As CDMA Version of P’9981?

Yesterday’s RIM leaked roadmap shed some light on the future of BlackBerry devices and what we can expect for this year but, among the various models, we’ve also seen the Knight, which was used to describe the already launched Porsche Design P’9981.

The leaked roadmap features a certain Porsche Design P’9531 (note the different numbering at the end of the name). The specs, which include a 1.2GHz processor and eight-gigabyte of internal storage (expandable to 32GB), seem to be exactly the same used in the Porsche Design P’9981. We could be very well looking at the CDMA variant of the Porsche Design P’9981, from now on referred to as the Porsche Design P’9531. Porsche sports car owners on Verizon and/or Sprint will definitely be glad to know that there will be a phone on which they will be able to spend $2000 (and it will match their ride).
