Last week we head of the 3.0 Alpha version of Foursquare for BlackBerry and one of its main attractions was the long waited BlackBerry Messenger integration. Well, version 3 of the application is now available but unfortunately it lacks the bells and whistles of messenger.
If you were lucky enough to grab the Alpha then you probably had a shot at the BlackBerry Messenger integration in Foursquare. It’s missing from the final version 3 release of the application but according to the developers, it is high on the priority list. If you manage to get over this, you’ll find an overhauled UI, the ability to get personalized recommendations as well as grab daily deals from partners like LivingSocial, Gilt City, BuyWithMe, YP.com, and zozi plus some more.
