Late last month, a leaked roadmap surfaced, purporting to show RIM’s hardware plans through the end of the year. Among the many models featured, the leak showed RIM intending to launch two lower-end handsets around April or May, the Curve 9220 and 9320. BGR’s division in India recently got a chance to check-out the 9320 in the flesh, snapping a couple pics in the process.

The 9220 and 9320, as the numbering should imply, are very similar handsets. They share the same form factor, 2.44-inch QVGA display, and 512MB flash. What sets the two apart is the 9320′s modem and camera; while the 9220 is strictly a 2G device with a two-megapixel camera, the 9320 is a 3G phone capable of HSDPA 7.2 and with a 3.2-megapixel camera. As such, the 9320 will be slightly more expensive, though presumably still keeping a budget price.

Accounts of the phone note the quality of the 9320′s construction, feeling remarkably sturdy, along with inclusion of a dedicated BBM button. There’s no official pricing available just yet, or even any that could be attributed to a leaked document, but rumors suggest the 9320 will be available off-contract for slightly over $200 when it arrives sometime around April.
