Late last month, we had the chance to look at a couple pics of RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry Curve 9320. Both the 9320 and the 9220 were revealed to us courtesy of a leaked RIM roadmap, identifying the pair as lower-end models planned for release sometime around April or May. As we continue to wait to learn the details of the launch plans for these smartphones, some more imagery of the 9320 has become available, this time showing off the phone’s dedicated BlackBerry Messenger button.

We had heard rumors before that the 9320 would feature such a button, but it hadn’t turned-up on-camera in the pictures previously released. Now here it finally is, tucked down beneath the phone’s USB port instead of where we might find a convenience key on a different BlackBerry model. We’re curious to see how RIM takes advantage of the button to interact with BBM, and if it actually ends up making the service more convenient to use.

It remains to be seen if we’ll see a similar dedicated BBM button pop-up on additional future BlackBerry models.
