Soon, BlackBerry Torch owners won’t be the only ones to enjoy the BlackBerry 6 operating system which includes improvements like universal search, a webkit-based browser, better social network integration, and a redesigned interface. A leaked advertisement from Verizon shows them as hosting a “interactive” launch of BlackBerry 6, which that means in the not too distant future, the software upgrade will be made available for Verizon’s newest BlackBerry devices (like the Curve 3G, for which BlackBerry 6 is already available if you’re taking the unofficial route).
