Last week’s BlackBerry events gave an early official look at RIM’s BlackBerry 10, getting set to revamp the user experience for the company’s next wave of smartphones. That was a nice start, but over this past weekend some newly-leaked images of the OS have surfaced, giving us even more detail about how some details of the platform may function.
Fitting-in nicely with BlackBerry’s image as the go-to business smartphone of choice, BB10 will supposedly include collaboration features which will let you share your phone’s screen with the person you’re calling, letting you show as well as tell.
The lock screen shows-off a system referred to here as “cinnamon toast”, using the phone’s sensors to allow interaction with the notifications it displays; tipping the phone farther and farther upwards will progressively reveal more and more information.
After unlocking your phone, it looks like there will be a nice feature to help you get right back to work without missing a beat, showing you the four most recent apps that have been in use.
As far as individual apps go, there should be a new video editor, for piecing-together clips right on your phone, as well as fresh versions of clients for the likes of Facebook and Twitter. Check out a sampling of the leaked pics which bring us all this information below.
